YAF Diesel and Mercan Group Sign Ballast Water Treatment System (BWTS) Agreement for Five Vessels

YAF Diesel, a provider of ship equipment and spare parts in the maritime industry, has signed a significant agreement with Mercan Group for five vessels. Under this agreement, Mercan Group, which operates in the chemical and oil tanker sectors, has chosen YAF Diesel's BSKY brand Ballast Water Treatment System (BWTS) for its fleet.

The BSKY BWTS system, purchased for Mercan Group's vessel ALEYNA MERCAN and other ships in its fleet, will ensure the environmentally friendly treatment of ballast water. This system filters the ballast water using a hydrocyclone and then purifies it with UV light, ensuring the water is cleaned without harming the environment. Additionally, YAF Diesel provides a lifetime warranty for the hydrocyclone system.
