Versatile Testing Capabilities

The YAF Fire Alarm Tester features an ergonomic design with a 3-position selector switch to toggle between different sensor types. With its included extension bars, the device provides exceptional reach up to 2.5 meters, eliminating the need for ladders in shipboard applications.

Flame Sensor Test

When the selector is in the top position, the device triggers UV/IR flame sensors. (Note: The head cover must be removed for flame testing).

Smoke Sensor Test

In the middle position, the internal nozzle produces a controlled smoke-simulating aerosol to verify optical and ionization detectors.

Heat Sensor Test

The lower position activates the heat induction nozzle, providing safe, localized heat to trigger thermal and rate-of-rise detectors.
